Hi, I’m Gina Peccia — a Certified Mindful Coach, Licensed Professional Counselor, and passionate advocate for emotional healing and personal growth.
For more than 15 years, I’ve worked in private practice, agency settings, and mental health programs helping individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. My approach is compassionate, grounded, and deeply client-centered — meeting people where they are while helping them move toward meaningful change.
Over the years, I realized that healing isn’t only about processing the past… it’s also about learning how to live more fully in the present. That realization led me to become certified in mindful coaching, where I help clients build self-awareness, strengthen emotional resilience, and create intentional change in their daily lives.
Mindfulness has become an essential part of both my personal life and professional work. I believe that when we slow down, become present, and learn to observe ourselves without judgment, we create space for healing, clarity, and transformation.
Before becoming a therapist, I earned a degree in Business Administration and worked successfully in pharmaceutical marketing. While the career offered stability and success, I felt called toward more meaningful, human-centered work. I ultimately made the life-changing decision to return to school and earn my Master’s in Counseling — a path that has allowed me to spend the last 15+ years supporting others through some of the most vulnerable and important moments of their lives.
My style integrates evidence-based approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. I also offer a faith-based perspective for clients who wish to incorporate spirituality into their healing journey.
Clients often describe me as calming, empathetic, genuine, and easy to talk to. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where people feel comfortable being fully themselves… a place where they can speak openly, feel understood, and gain practical tools for growth and healing.
At the heart of my work is the belief that every person already holds the wisdom needed to heal and grow. Sometimes, we simply need support, guidance, and space to reconnect with ourselves.
Healing is not about becoming someone else — it’s about returning to who you are with greater compassion, awareness, and intention. My goal is to create a space where clients can grow into new versions of themselves without losing what makes them who they are.
